I had an amazing time photographing baby Beaudoin in the womb. His mommy and daddy was so happy to be having their 3rd child.

We had so much fun with paint. They painted all the children's names on her belly along with their hand prints.

I had a blast photographing these too. And mommy had the baby on Christmas Day. What a great Christmas present!

Zac and Kara:: Married

I recently had the honor and privilege of photographing this beautiful wedding. Kara was a beautiful bride and Zac a very handsome groom. It was such a fun day filled with love and memory making. :) I'm so glad that I was able to capture those memories for Zac and Kara to cherish for ever and ever.

Long time no post... So sorry!
Recently I did a mini shoot with an adorable little 3 year old and his older sister. It was so much fun! Although my camera decided to take a break from working properly I was able to get some great shots.

The littlest one was all over the place. But I'm used to him because he also attends our daycare. He is such a ham!

His older sister is a beautiful young lady. She has a beautiful smile and was a natural in front of the camera.

All in all... it was a success!

This little guy is the cutest thing EVER! He looks right at the camera and says CHEESE, and then makes some weird faces. That's how I caught this number. What a sweetie pie!

I almost missed this weeks entry. I just went out with my family on a walk after we ate dinner at my grandparents house and snagged a few adorable shots of my nephews. Aren't they so precious.

Her eyes are gorgeous. :P

Fall has some of the most beautiful colors. It's sad that they will disappear and white snow will takes it's place. *sigh* I don't like coldness. :P

2 Cutie Pa Tooties

These two little cuties had their pictures done for their grandparents. They are cousins and their mommies and daddies wanted something special for their grandparents for Grandparents Day. Which is apparently September 13th.

They did so good, I'm very proud of these two munchkins.

1st Ever Tutorial: Make Those Eyes Pop

I had Alice, a fellow blogger and photographer, ask me how I get the eyes to pop the way I do. So I decided, since it's so easy and simple, to do a quick tutorial on eyes. It's extremely easy and once you get the hang of it you'll want to be making the eyes pop in everyone of your pictures. :)
So first you'll want to pick your photo, it works best on face shots that are straight on but I've done this with corner eyes as well.

Once you have chosen you photo you'll want to zoom in a little to the eyes.
Next you'll need to click on your lasso tool. You'll want to go around the colored part of the eye. It doesn't have to be perfect, we'll fix that in a moment. Just make sure you try and get it at the very edge.

Once you've lassoed your one eye you'll need to click the feather button. Find select, and scroll down to feather.

Once you've clicked the feather button this little box with appear. Most of the time 10 pixels will be perfect, but if it happens to make your lasso a lot bigger or a lot smaller you'll need to change the number. I've only had to go lower a few times. But 10 should be fine.

After you've feathered it you'll need to do the unsharp mask. Which is found under Filter, sharpen, and at the bottom is unsharp mask. Once clicked a box will appear...

When this box appears it will say Amount 50% you'll want to change it to 66%, this will make it just right.

Now that we've done that you'll need to go into image adjustments, Go to Image on your top bar, find Adjustments, and then go to Brightness/Contrast. Now the contrast is the only thing you'll mess with.

When adjusting your contrast be careful not to go to high, because then it can end up looking unnatural and weird. Like this...

Do the same with the other eye, and there you have it, the eyes pop. Do a couple things here and there, and wala, you have it. The eyes pop!

This little guy is such a cutie pie. His ears are adorable, you can almost always find him playing with them, and they flop back and forth. OF course, nothing like dumbo's ears :)

This photo reminds me of the seven dwarfs on their way home. Carrying something over the shoulder. That was the first thing to pop in my mind when I saw this picture.

Amanda is a Senior this year, and asked me to do her pictures. We had so much fun at the park. We took SO MANY pictures. I really enjoyed myself, and even Amanda said how much she actually enjoyed getting her pictures taken.

This is my most favorite shot of the day.

It was a great day and we got loads of GREAT shots.

These little guys went to the daycare at work at. Well, the little one still does. :) This was a Christmas shoot, obviously, and it was so fun.

1st Session Ever

This was my first ever photo session. These girls did so good, it was so cute, because the youngest one was telling me about poses she wanted to do. It was so fun for me and I know the girls enjoyed themselves too.

I liked this pictures because they were walking together and making it black and white made me love it even more.

She walked over to this bench and just started posing, I didn't even have the camera aimed at her.

I had loads of fun shooting with these girls. I hope I get to do it again. I'm thinking I will. :)
